Combat ships parade in the Navy Fleet Day The Navy Fleet Day is undoubtedly one of the favorite Russian holidays. Founded by Peter the Great, it is deservedly adored by Russian people and they are very proud of it. In the soviet times the fleet was practically destroyed and now we have so few modern ships, so few navy bases. But the fleet still exists and each year in St. Petersburg the Parade...

On the night of the 16/17 of June the first velonight in St.Petersburg will take place. We’ll be riding the bicycles and listen to the stories by the city experts: Maria Makogonova, Boris Kirikov and Architect Sergei Choban. Every evening here’re held the concerts, poems readings, exchibitions, videoperfomances, etc. All the events are free of charge.

It reminds of our favourite Ostap Bender (“The twelve chairs”, “The little golden calf”, who used to repeat, “So, I’m in Brazil, wandering around the streets wearing the white trousers.” But here it was because of SENSATION 2011 festival, which was...
