On the 16th of April you could see a flaring Samson statue in unusual places. So, the three months restoration and gilding of the fountain is finished. First Samson fountain was placed in front of the Great cascade in Peterhof in 1735. Since then there had been 3 Samson fountains. The last one was placed in 1947. In December 2010 it was removed for restoration.
