Till the 15th of August in Kirova CPCR you could have visited the exhibition “Our silence” by Mexican sculptor Rivelino. The exhibition consists of eleven huge sculptures, ten of which are bronze and one, cubic, is steel. Each giant bust is characterized by a huge plate covering the mouth, it symbolizes the freedom of expression importance, which is the main topic of the exhibition. The eleventh sculpture is a 2 meters steel cube, called “tactile cube”, made specially for blind people. This cubic sculpture contains 4 mini-sculptures similar to monumental ones. So a blind man touching the cube could get images of great monumental sculptures thanks to tactile contact.
