The white nights and the white people
City: Saint-Petersburg.
On July, 18 people dressed in all white filled the Moskovsky district of St. Petersburg. It reminds of our favourite Ostap Bender (“The twelve chairs”, “The little golden calf”, who used to repeat, “So, I’m in Brazil, wandering around the streets wearing the white trousers.” But here it was because of SENSATION 2011 festival, which was held in St. Petersburg for four years already. You could watch MTV channel to see what was happening inside. But in the Victory Park (Park Pobedy) there was an unforgettable view of 30 thousand people wearing white clothes everywhere: by the metro entrance, on the upturned park alleys, on the entire square at SKK, and even a line to WC. The ‘multicoloured’ people, who got to this Celebration of the life, were hiding cautiously away.
