Sleeping lions in the courtyard
City: Saint-Petersburg.
There are many lions in our city. Some of them are very famous, whereas others are not noted even by the people from the nearby houses, for example these lions in the courtyard of the house №5 in Kronverksky propect. The sculptures awere casted in 1905 out of concrete with the addition of granite grit.

Да, очень старые, усталые львы. Не страшные. Наверное от многочисленных слоев краски, отекающих книзу, с ними произошло то же, что и с живыми львами с годами происходит: мышцы, кожа оттягиваются к низу. Памятники стареют как живые существа.
