Fountain “Girl Ude”
City: Saint-Petersburg.
The fountain «Girl Ude» was created in the early fifties: a little girl with eastern eye shape tightly holds the gills of a huge salmon and the water flows from fish’s mouth. This sculpture looks like something average between Samson from Peterhof, ripping the jaws of a lion, and Pissing Boy statue in Brussels. Probably, that’s why the popular name for this fountain is Pissing Girl.
Address: Zelenogorsk, a public garden near Primorskoe high-road, opposite to the orthodox church..
How to reach: Take a suburban train from Finlyandskiy railway station to Zelenogorsk station..
