If I were a romantically-oriented guy (or a romantic girl) working over the question of a present, new dating place, or a surprise, I would definitely head to Vasilievsky island. Here’s an absolutely informal place in the backyard of Kirov House of Culturе. There’s an amazing atmosphere in here: the smell of fresh clay, ready and not yet finished stuff scattered all around, the feeling of something real and earth-bound, and at the same time of something unreal and timeless. There’s a very special feeling when a piece of clay in your hands gets alive and breathes, and you become almost a creator. I won’t describe anything more here – everyone has his own impression. I just inform you about WHERE you can get them.
P.S. After telling my acquaintance about a pottery workshop for the last 20 minutes, I was surprised to hear about the movie “Ghost”(1990) from her. In response to my confusion she said, “There was a pottery wheel!” It illustrates the personal impressions)))

Татьяна_, (26.05.2011 at 16:58) 3— а ведь еще есть кузнечные мастерские, там тоже - магия... я как-то была на мастер-классе по кузнечному делу в деревне художников (есть у меня один знакомый поэт-кузнец), потрясающе интересно, и не только для мужчин)

— Да, с Гильдией кузнецов тоже приходилось встречаться - вот не могу найти фото с Крестовского о-ва, где на праздничных гуляниях их встречали часто. Сегодня открылся в Михайловском саду Фестиваль "Итальянский полдень "( Императорские сады России-2011 )- наверняка они будут в программе заявлены.
