He looks like a wounded bird with outstretched wings and the Crucified Savior. And a savior he is since he saved the motherland from the enemy. It is strange that I have not seen this impressive monument even on the photo, notwithstanding that it was set in 1986.

The bronze figure of a wounded soldier with a rifle and a banner shot through was mounted in the LETI (Electro-Technical Institute) campus. Sculptor A. Dema, architect V. A. Grebenkov. The height of the figure is 375 cm, and the pedestal is 100 cm of height. On the wall of the institute building you can see a strict composition of torn bronze plates with the names of fallen soldiers. In the center the rifles and machine guns are depicted. "To the students and the professors of the Leningrad Electro-Technical Institute, who died in the Great Patriotic War" ...

— Память о той великой войне, о тех жертвах, которые были принесены, чтобы все мы жили сейчас - эта память священна. Я не знал об этом памятнике. Спасибо огромное за размещение этого объекта. Я как раз сейчас готовлю материал о памятниках памяти, установленных в ВУЗах Санкт-Петербурга. Если Вы, как автор данного поста, не возражаете, то мне хотелось бы разместить информацию об этих памятниках здесь, как дополнительные комментарии. Ещё раз спасибо за замечательный объект!

— Валерий-1,Ваша задумка интересная, но в СПб больше 30 вузов. Я не возражаю, если вы свои добавления разместите здесь, но может лучше сделать это отдельным постом? Думаю, что вы найдете много интересных и неизвестных памятников, которые достойны отдельного добавления. Удачи!

— Дмитрий, зря вы так... "Цинизм - это бесстыдство, наглость, грубая откровенность; вызывающе-презрительное отношение к общепринятым нормам нравственности и морали. На воротах фашистского концентрационного лагеря "Освенцим" висел плакат: "Каждому - своё". Это классический пример цинизма".
