The Minor Road of Life is a name of ice roads series in 1941 – 44 from Nevskaya guba northern embankment through Kotlin island to Oranienbaum. Neder befor have I heard about it. Lately walking in Kronshtadt, on house 5 we noticed a memorial plaque, fixed in 1974 in 30 year anniversary of Leningrad’s release from the blockade. The note: “Here during the Siege of Leningrad stretched The Minor Road of Life Gorskaya – Kronshtadt – Oranienbaum. 1941 - 1944”.
