This monument to the Saint-Petersburg horse carriage was opened in 2004. This model of 1872-1878 years is installed nearby the metro station “Vasileostrovskaya”.

It was constructed according to the drawings made at Putylovsky plant. Two bronze horses appeared just in front of the carriage in 2005 – the work of sculptor Akhnaf Zyakaev.

Address: at the corner of the 7th line and Sredny prospect, Vasilyevsky ostrov.

How to reach: just in front of metro station “Vasileostrovskaya”. .

— между прочим, на последней фотографии видно, что кучер появился сравнительно недавно, так что история памятника (просто вагончик-направляющие его лошади-управляющий лошадьми кучер) напоминает чем-то сказку "Репка" ;) интересно, кто там появится в следующий раз
