Besides looking at the animals, here you also can take one home.

A Charity Exhibition of animal shelter Rzhevka, organized by volunteers, takes place on 24th and 25th of September, 2011, 12pm – 7pm in Gorky Palace of Culture (1st entrance, 2nd floor). About 100 dogs and cats will be waiting for their new owners. Those interested can take a pet for free. All animals are neutered, and received the necessary treatment and vaccination. In the framework of the exhibition is expected a show of shelter’s animals. Entrance is free. If you plan to take an animal at the exhibition, you should have your passport (to sign the agreement), a bag (for cats) and a leash (for dogs).

Rzhevka shelter appeared over 5 years ago, and it is the largest one in St. Petersburg, which keeps dogs and cats. Rzhevka is always open for volunteers and visitors.

Address: 4 Stachek prospect.

How to reach: next to Narvskaya metro station, Gorky Palace of Culture (1st entrance, 2nd floor).

— странно, конечно, но я в тот день(25 сент.) забрала оттуда собака. И выставка была не у ржевки, а у друга.
