There was one of the oldest barber in this house in Nevsky Avenue in 1826 – it is called "Debut". It was closed in 2006 because of the rent problems. It was often visited by many famous artists.

But the most important is the fact that the barber would not close during the Blockade of Leningrad! Its visitors were men, leaving the front!

The plaque with the original text appeared on its wall in September of 2002. There were such words: "This barber was working during the entire blockade. In those years, labor proved that beauty will save the world." Another interesting fact is that this board is not on the facade, but inside the building at the entrance.

How to reach: From "Gostiny Dvor" metro station to the opposite side of the avenue and to the right, then 3 minutes on foot before getting to Malaya Sadovaya street.

— Конечно, вход в данный подъезд свободный. как видно на втором фото, рядом имеется вход в салон сотовой связи, рядом еще салон красоты.

— Кстати, для критиков, как видите, здесь тоже присутствует рекламная табличка с информацией об изготовителе доски. Правда, весьма скромненькая.

— Если товарищи спонсоры и правда заботятся о памятной доске, то почему бы и нет, пусть пишут себя на маленькой скромненькой табличке (имхо, да).
+ Не могу молчать!, вы можете притвориться, будто вам в салоне связи денег на телефон положить надо, а сами к доске. ;-)
