Ioannovskii Bridge is a bridge you can’t skip while visiting Petropavlovskaya fortress, so it’s rather formal and significant sight, but I was attracted by the eagles on the bridge. The eagles were mounted on the bridge lanterns in 2003, some lanterns have helmets on top of them, which look like the Kaiser Germany helmets at the times of First World War. They are the informal elements of the bridge, which attracted my attention. Does anyone know the helmets’ history? Maybe there was such uniform in the Russian army? And another fact about this bridge. Boys of different age jump down into the water when there are no ships or crafts floating under the bridge. I haven’t succeeded in assuring them to stop this deadly entertainment and what about the police?! I haven’t seen any of them there.

Не могу м., (13.07.2011 at 06:52) 1— Валерий, спасибо огромнющее именно за эти фонарики! Тоже нравятся "шапочки". А пересматривала свои фото-к сжалению, именно их-то и нет. Теперь и моя коллекция пополнится. Особенно чудесен первый снимок в тексте- ВОРОБЕЙ)))!!!
