Lions at the entrance of engineering house in Petropavlovskaya fortress. There are lots of information about the engineering house itself but no information about these lions with brocken noses. What are they? Historical monuments or soulless fakes? And when were they placed here? If anyone knows, please, share the information.

Address: Petropavlovskaya fortress.

How to reach: from Gorkovskaya metro station 7 min on foot.

— Во втором издании книги Нестерова "Львы стерегут город" есть сноска-примечание о том, что во время реконструкции дома 50 по ул. Чайковского в Инженерный дом Петропавловской крепости были перевезены два маленьких чугунных льва, которые стояли во дворе. Но у входа в Инженерный дом стоят бетонные львы. Другой информации пока не нашел.

— На сайте фотографа Сергея Прохорова (http://photoprogulki.narod.ru/index.htm) нашел упоминание что он видел львов с ул.Чайковского, 50 на одной выставке.
