The traditional annual Museum Night, devoted to the Museum Day is coming soon in St. Petersburg! This international project works in 42 European countries. About 2000 museums work all night and invite everyone who doesn’t sleep and wants to see the museums exhibitions at unusual time.
This year it’ll be the fourth Museum night in St. Petersburg, and it’s devoted to “Space” theme. Only this day we can check the special program: plays, historical reconstructions, author excursions, one day exhibitions, master classes and concerts.
The Museum Night starts on May 21st at 6 p.m. and lasts until 6 a.m. May 22nd. Some museums will have the evening program – from 18.00 until 23.00 – which is important for those ones who travel home by metro. And for those ones who’re not afraid of night walks around St. Petersburg, the part of the museums (22 of them) will be open from 18.00 until 06.00.
Unfortunately, the museums entrance isn’t free of charge in St. Petersburg (not as it is in Moscow). Since last year the common ticket is offered, which also means free ride in the special buses operating between the museums.
It’s been a good fun, lots of impressions! You can trust me, as I’ve been taking part in this program since 2008. Apply your organizing skills, decide what are your priorities and follow one route (btw, it’s better not to choose the public transportation) – then you’ll get tons of positive experience. But get yourself ready to the crowds and queues, and sometimes inadequate visitors. Everything can happen)) But I’m sure you’ll be lucky, and get the best impression, and make sure you have enough to remember throughout the year. Don’t forget to take your cameras! It’s up to you what to choose from the list. I’d head to the Cat Museum.

                    [comment] => Не за горами очередная НОЧЬ МУЗЕЕВ. В этом году этому проекту будет уже 6 лет. Помню, что несколько раз пыталась попасть в интересующие меня места , но безуспешно. 

И вот найден один из способов это решить - волонтёрство.

 Преимущества : 

1) у вас будет свой бейджик, по которому можно пройти в любой музей из списка участников БЕЗ ОЧЕРЕДИ и БЕСПЛАТНО;

 2) вы имеете возможность увидеть свой объект изнутри, со служебного входа. пообщаться в неформальной обстановке с работниками музея, задать интересующие вас вопросы;  

3) приобрести новых друзей ; 

4) провести вечер или ночь в кругу своих ( если вы идете волонтерить компанией ) в неповторимой обстановке, которую организовать самостоятельно довольно непросто;

5) попробовать себя в новом деле...

Словом, "плюсов" можно обнаружить немало.  При желании и список "минусов " набрать несложно, было бы желание )))
