People call this mansion “Shalyapin’s dacha”, though actually Shalyapin has nothing to do with this house. Although merchant Kotlov was a great patron and arts lover. The house was built in 1913-1914 by Nikolai Ivanovich Tovstoles in modern style. Since 1930 till 1967 there was a library, now there is a building administration.

Address: 8, Toresa prospect.

How to reach: Ploshchad Muzhestva metro station.
