The monument to the victims of radiation accidents and disasters is placed in the park n. a. Sakharov at the intersection between Marshalla Bluchera and Piskarevsky prospects, across the house 35 on Piskarevsky prospect. The monument was created by sculptor I. B. Korneev, V. B. Buchaev, and engineer I. Bukato. Unveiling of the monument took place on August 8, 2003. The park was named after Andrei Sakharov in 1996 on the 75th anniversary of the birth of the academician.

Address: Piskarevsky prospect, the Park n. a. Academician Sakharov.

How to reach: by bus 102 from Akademicheskaya metro station.
