The bronze sculpture on the gray granite pedestal was created on the funds of International Fund of Science History and Nobel Fund(Sweden). Opened to the public on the 21st of October 1991.

The monument depicts the Tree of Life defended by bird -“Holy Spirit” against evil and destruction.

Alfred Nobel (1833-1896) - the founder of Nobel Prize fund, dynamite inventor, organizer and joint owner of many enterprisers.

Address: 24, Petrograd.

How to reach: from metro station “Gorkovskaya”, on foot.
