In Russia there are lots of monuments dedicated to Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin but there’s only one monument dedicated to his pictures, it’s situated in St.Petersburg. It was opened in 2008 on the territory of the legendary “Pushkinskaya 10”. Pushkin’s bust is on the top of the column surrounded by his pictures. If you walk past the monument with your eyes glued on it you can notice the change in the poet’s face expression. Pushkin adored painting in his own manuscripts; there were hundreds of pictures in them.

Address: 10, Pushkinskaya Street.

How to reach: from Ploshchad Vosstaniya metro station 10 min on foot along Ligovskii prospect.
