— Я согласен с Пав,что в результате реконструкции Летний сад станет краше и интереснее.Ландшафтники даже называли парк Летнего -пьяный лес!Уважаемые Ленинградцы после блокады в благородном порыве возрождая город, хаотично засадили деревьями и кустарниками Летний сад.Но эти благородные люди,к сожалению,небыли спецами в области ландшафта и посадок...

Совершенно верно,Вы угадали ,уважаемая Не могу молчать-Сухой гаване(или малый гаванец),восстановили.На одном из фото я держу кольцо историческое,эпохи Петра Алексеевича.К одному из таких колец привязывали лодки Петр и его сподвижники во время "всешутейших и всепьянейших соборов" и Государевых приемов...Летний сад находился на острове и Государь мог там гулять с имперским размахом и русскими последствиями...

Хотелось бы спросить у сведущего человека, правдиво ли описаны события, потому как кажется, что вообще документальное повествование о конкретных людях, да и фамилия автора свидетельствует о том же...Наверное, уже никто и не подскажет и не поможет, ибо...Но Вам, как потомку "недобитых" было бы, думаю, интересно найти и ознакомиться с текстом. Вексельберг обещал потратить 30 миллионов долларов на реставрацию Шуваловского дворца, памятника петербургской архитектуры XVIII-XIX века, переданного в долгосрочную аренду фонду Виктора Вексельберга "Связь времен". Однако работы еще идут
ни шатко ни валко,а о сроках их окончания ничего не известно.Мы были там недавно...Горы мусора,все разломано...многие фамильные вещи пропали...


Шуваловский дворец, расположенный на набережной Фонтанки, был передан в аренду фонду "Связь времен" в 2007 году. Предполагалось, что во дворце разместится коллекция Фаберже, купленная в 2004 году Вексельбергом у семьи Форбс за 100 миллионов долларов. Осенью 2008 года председатель правления фонда Виктор Воронченко заявлял, что показ коллекции в Шуваловском дворце может состояться уже в 2010 году: к этому времени предполагалось завершить ремонт здания.Скоро грядет 2012 год...

— Было много слухов и публикаций о том, что Русский музей в Летнем саду проявляет самоуправство. Но проект реставрации готовился задолго до того, как сад был передан музею. Проект не раз принимался и одобрялся коллегией Министерства культуры, обсуждался на экспертном совете при КГИОП, был согласован во всех инстанциях и прошел через Главгосэкспертизу. Без всего этого невозможно было получить финансирование и приступить к работам.

Реставрация (Владимир Гусев отвергает слово «реконструкция») началась в июле 2009 года, в нынешнем декабре ее первый этап завершается. Сад будет открыт весной следующего года, в мае он примет первых посетителей.

Теперь о том, что они увидят. Первое впечатление не просто выразить словами. Можно сказать, что в облике Летнего сада исчезли признаки доступного городского сквера и проступили черты родства с императорскими резиденциями – Петергофом, Царским Селом, Павловском. Честно говоря, пока нет уверенности: хорошо это или плохо.

Восстановлены строгие береговые очертания пруда. Бросается в глаза обилие зелени. Первоначально в Летнем саду было много садовых деревьев. К нашим дням осталось мало пород, в основном липа, немного дубов и кленов. По сравнению с петровским временем сад стал беднее. Вместо вырубленных нескольких десятков – менее шести процентов – больных деревьев высаживаются сотни здоровых. Посадки продолжаются и сейчас, чтобы растения прижились и спокойно спали зимой.

Временные деревянные решетки помогают формированию шпалер. Растения приехали из Германии, из другой климатической зоны. Они должны адаптироваться и прижиться. Кусты, посаженные осенью прошлого года, хорошо перезимовали. Сирень цвела, орешник давал орехи. Шпалеры в Летнем саду восстанавливают в историческом материале. Высажено много садовых красивоцветущих кустарников. Закрытые баскеты создают условия для гнездования птиц.

Сегодня в саду плюс восемь. Фонтанов.По первоначальному проекту, в Летнем саду предполагалось восстановить 21 объект. В процессе споров отказались от воссоздания большого каскада со скульптурой, большой оранжереи. Сегодня восстановлено 15 объектов, в их числе малая оранжерея. Здесь будут зимовать растения, которые только летом могут жить на открытом воздухе. Так было и раньше. В Летнем саду появится ботанический сад. Есть дизайн-проект будущей экспозиции.

На месте бетонного сарая возведен новый хозблок с хорошим оборудованием, необходимым для эксплуатации сада. Из восстановленных объектов нельзя не упомянуть одну из многочисленных затей петровского времени – Птичий двор, или голубятню. Там разместится музей Летнего сада, с его историей, реставрацией, археологией, где будет электронная реконструкция облика сада на разные периоды его существования. Здесь же должна обосноваться статуя Вакха, которая не подвергалась реставрации. Скульптура многое перенесла, долго хранилась в земле, пострадала от пожара. Музей решил ее не реставрировать. Вакх станет символом Летнего сада и судьбы его скульптур.

Воссоздан извлеченный из-под земли один из самых сложных объектов – Менажерийный пруд. В его центре островок с беседкой, где основатель нашего города Петр устраивал небольшие приемы.

Уже в декабре на историческое место вернутся центральные ворота Невской ограды, которые замыкали центральные аллеи. После покушения на Александра II на их месте была воздвигнута часовня, что нарушило планировку сада.

Теперь самое эффектное и, не исключено, спорное – фонтаны. Их количество в Летнем саду со временем менялось. Приходится признать, что Петр в своем саду потерпел фиаско с фонтанами: не удалось наладить систему подачи воды. Теперь проложили коммуникации и восстановили восемь фонтанов, причем половина на главной аллее. Восстановили водометы по иконографическому материалу, позволяющему судить о том, как они выглядели при Петре. В земле осталась археология. Фонтаны стоят на «родных» основаниях.

Надо несколько слов сказать и о судьбе знаменитой коллекции скульптур Летнего сада. Она насчитывает 92 произведения итальянских мастеров. В нашем климате мрамор разрушается быстро. Копии статуй стали делать давно, но неудачной оказалась технология. Музей нашел новый метод копирования. Скульптура отреставрирована полностью. Оригиналы вошли в экспозицию Михайловского замка, копии встали на аллеях сада.

Как сказал директор Русского музея, Петр I мечтал, чтобы Летний сад был похож на Версаль. Поэтому он создавал его открытым, лишь по периметру окруженным деревьями. К нашему времени сад превратился в зеленый массив. Музей его таким и сохраняет, восстанавливая отдельные участки.

Члены Общественного совета, увидевшие Летний сад обновленным, работу реставраторов одобрили.

В Летнем саду появятся три новых павильона. Хозяйственное сооружение будет закрыто от глаз посетителей зеленью. Птичий двор и Малую оранжерею восстановят по архивным документам. В Малой оранжерее, как и при Петре, будут храниться кадочные растения, вот только заботиться о них будут современные системы вентиляции, водоснабжения. А вот на птичьем дворе не будет птиц, там разместится музей археологии Летнего сада. Экспонатами станут интересные находки, найденные в процессе раскопок: монеты, фрагменты посуды и другие редкости.Вот только перед нашей экскурсией с Олей по Летнему саду,на территории Птичьего Двора нашли шведскую монету 1612 года! Что однозначно говорит о более древней истории нашего любимого города.
Как ни мал Летний сад, но на его территории нашлось место для Птичьего двора. Во всех петровских парках устраивались «менажерии», птичьи и зверовые дворы, с вольерами и клетками для животных. В Петербургском царском огороде, по свидетельству очевидца, уже в 1710 году был павильон для певчих птиц и особый Птичий двор, где содержались цапли, журавли, уточки широконоски и другие. А на противоположном берегу Лебяжьей канавки был построен зверинец. Львы, пантеры, леопард, белые и черные медведи и даже слон, подарок персидского шаха, – обитатели первого петербургского зоосада на Большом лугу (нынче -Марсовом поле).
В 1978 году при прокладке труб магистрального водопровода рабочие случайно наткнулись на фундамент Зверового двора. Археологами там было найдено множество глиняных плошек (светильников) и костей животных.
Что же касается Птичьего двора в самом Летнем саду, то его остатки обнаружены там, где он показан на исторических планах: на боскете Главной аллеи, напротив всем известного памятника «дедушке Крылову». На аксонометрическом плане 1760 х годов Птичий двор представлен во всех подробностях. С трех сторон прямоугольную площадку окружали «галдарейки» – навесы с вольером для птиц, а с четвертой –«Голубятня», большой деревянный павильон с высокой сквозной башенкой, откуда гоняли голубей. Купол башенки был увенчан фигуркой голубя. В центре площадки находился круглый мраморный фонтан.
Судя по чертежу, павильон действительно имел восемь больших затянутых проволочной сеткой оконных проемов, что позволяло любоваться птицами, не заходя в помещение. Вероятно, это имел в виду Петр I, когда приказывал «строить голубятню за проволочными решетками (как в Голландии делается)». В сентябре 1719 года князь А. Черкасский распорядился все работы «в окончание привесть»: купол покрыть жестью, полы вымостить путиловскими плитами «квадратнаго фута», а потолки и стены между пилястрами обить холстом. Снаружи деревянный павильон был пестро раскрашен зеленой, белой, желтой и черной красками.

Первая канализация в России.

На территории Летнего сада наполовину раскопан Гаванец - ковшеобразная гавань у Дворца Петра.В наше время он был скрыт под более чем полутораметровым культурным слоем…(на моих фото я там держу подлинное кольцо)
Гаванец был построен в 1704 году и использовался для подхода к саду на мелких судах. Гаванец воссоздадут как архитектурный памятник. Уровень его дна поднимут, воды там не будет и, соответственно, никакого подхода судов к саду не предполагается. Однако, увидеть "модель" прежней гавани петербуржцы все-таки смогут.
К Летнему дворцу в петровское время можно было прийти пешком. А можно было прибыть водным путем — из Невы в Фонтанку, а потом в Гаванец — прямехонько к порогу дворца. Сейчас Гаванец раскапывают. Докопались уже и до паркетного каменного мощения — такого же, как перед дворцом Монплезир в Петергофе. Это древнейшее сооружение в Петербурге,всего второй год как Петр в Питербурхе...
Загадка дворца - сводчатый кирпичный коллектор в подполье палат. Он связан отводами с «нужными чуланцами». некоторые историки считают, что у Петра во дворце была устроена «проточно-промывная канализация», но раскопки гаванца пока не подтвердили, что она была «проточной». Так что с этим коллектором еще очень много неясного.
Возможно первую в России канализацию смыло наводнениями...Канализацией истории...

Гаванец - небольшая бухта у южного фасада Летнего дворца. Самое старое сооружение Летнего сада. Искусственное происхождение подтверждают архивные документы-первое название «копань». Гаванец появился, когда на месте Летнего дворца, сменяя друг друга, выстраивались первые царские хоромы.
Представьте: ялик стремительно (течение быстрое) влетает из Невы в Фонтанку, гребцы табанят, и ,плавно войдя в небольшую бухточку, причаливают прямо ко дворцу, Петр из судна перешагивает на каменную лестницу, что при входе во дворец. Ступени ее восточного марша уходят прямо в воду. А Екатерина, чертыхаясь про себя, подбирает юбки и, поддерживаемая гребцами, спешит за царем, ее маленьких дочерей матросы бережно передают с рук на руки. Опасное предприятие подняться и спуститься в качающуюся на воде шлюпку. Царю же все нипочем!
- Обнаружил каменные стенки гаванца и кирпичную мостовую вокруг него в 1962 году Александр Гессен, и с тех пор он «заболел» идеей восстановить уникальное сооружение. В первоначальном проекте реставрации сада предусматривалось полное раскрытие гаванца с разборкой части набережной Фонтанки и заполнением ковша водой. Авторы считали, что есть надежные методы уберечь здание от сырости, но современные реставраторы на такой смелый эксперимент не решились. Гаванец будет показан в сухом виде. Хотя, мне кажется, Гессен был прав, и было бы замечательно показать гаванец таким, как был.

— Всё что сфотографировал - выложил. В фотоаппарате закончилась карта памяти. Честно признаюсь, что табличку уровня наводнения не искал. Может быть на днях ещё раз в сад прогуляюсь. Тогда и посмотрю. И скульптуры все подписаны верно, согласно табличкам, потому как сразу после фотографирования каждой скульптуры, делал снимок и таблички. Ведь удержать в голове всё это невозможно!

— Paolaner, Чудесные фото, спасибо. Но скульптуры явно не все -петровская коллекция Летнего сада мраморно-садовой скульптуры XVII-XVIII вв. составляет 198 единиц. Оригиналы переданы в Русский музей, а выполненные из искусственного мрамора копии заняли их место в Летнем саду. Искусственный мрамор (70-80 % мраморной крошки и 20 -30 % полиэфирной смолы ) в точности воспроизводит структуру и цвет оригиналов XVII-XVIII вв. А отреставрированные скульптуры-оригиналы уже сейчас можно увидеть в Михайловском (Инженерном) замке на первом этаже. Окна зала выходят на Летний сад:)
