Opposite Vitebskiy railway station instead of the park used to be the cathedral Entry to the Holy Mother Temple , built in 1842 by architect Tonn. It was demolished and now there stands memorable obelisk. A little closer to Zagorodnyi prospect in the same square there is a wooden cross, specifying the point where Alexandr Nevskiy, the saint blessed knyaz chapel used to stand. It was dedicated to the wonderful rescue of tsar family in train accident near Borky village in 1888.

Address: Zagorodnyi prospect.

How to reach: Pushkinskaya metro station opposite Vitebskii railway station.

— спасибо за экскурсию! Зимой к этому обелиску было не подойти- снега по самые подмышки намело. Все забывала выяснить, что за памятный знак. Теперь знаю)))
