Не многие знают о замечательном памятнике Зощенко в Сестрорецке. Рядом с великим писателем можно посидеть... причем таких памятников два. Один у библиотеки имени Зощенко, а второй на его могиле на Сестрорецком кладбище.



Семья Зощенко снимала в Сестрорецке дачу, а затем купила дом на Полевой улице, д. 14-а.
В повести «Перед восходом солнца» Зощенко признался... "я всегда мечтал жить где-нибудь на берегу, совсем близко к воде, чтобы волны были почти у крыльца моего дома". Именно это и случилось в Сестрорецке. 
Зощенко любил этот курортный город. В нем он и скончался  22 июля 1958 года в 0.45 от сердечной недостаточности...

Not many people know about a wonderful monument to Zoschenko in Sestroretsk. You can even take a sit next to the great writer. And there’re two of the similar buildings – the first one is by the library named after Zoschenko, and the second one is on his tomb on the Sestroretsk cemetery.
Zoschenko’s family used to rent a dacha in Sestroretsk, and later has bought a house on 14A, Polevaya st.
In his tale “Before the sunrise” Zoschenko has admitted, “I’ve always been dreaming to live somewhere on the coast, very close to water, so that the waves almost touched my house porch”. And this fulfilled in Sestroretsk. Zoschenko used to love this resort town, where he died on July, 22 in 1958 at 0.45 of cardiac failure.
