After several days of the repair works on the tram ways on Kamenoostrovsky prospect there appeared a new traffic sign. This beautiful and glittering sign was put before the right turn to Krestyansky (Peasants’) lane. The point is that it says that the turn is to Krestyansky not lane, but prospect (avenue)! So, either the sign indicates the street, which doesn’t exist, or the lane was promoted to rank of the avenue. On the buildings of the lane (there are about five-six of them) one can see tablets with the name of the street. Tablets are different by their appearance, but the word “lane” is written on all of them. Besides, the size of this lane is far way less than that of an avenue should be!

How to reach: from Gorkovskaya metro station cross the street and go to the corner between Kamennoostrovsky prospect and Krestyansky lane.
