This cemetery is a monument of landscape architecture: many of the tombstones have a huge cultural and artistic value.

However during the last years the cemetery is in poor condition: destroyed crypts, broken fences, damaged sculpture, abandoned land along Decabristov street and Zheleznovodskaya street. One of the most significant historical and cultural monuments now desperately needs to be renewed.
