Strange balconies
City: Saint-Petersburg.
The Moscow regional council is a building in the style of constructivism, in the form of a huge and massive cylinder (1930-1935, architects I. I. Fomin, V. G. Daugul, B. M. Serebrovsky). Functionality is combined with originality — inside the cylinder a huge hall covered with a dome is situated. Initially the dome had the conic form, but in 1970s it was reconstructed. And, though the constructivists urged to create useful things, for nobody knows what reason the balconies are located inside the hall and that causes strong bewilderment. Here such a rare architectural issue.

— Вот, кстати, ничего удивительного! Наверное в этом зале должны были происходить собрания. Чтобы небожители райсовета могли из своего кабинета, не отвлекаясь от дел, вещать и давать советы по пути в рай, придумали эти балконы.

— Да,как сказано в "Кин-дза-за" "Общество, в котором нет цветовой дифференциации штанов, лишено цели ", а данном случае дифференциация балконов-на вернем стоит Первый секретарь, ниже Второй, еще ниже Третий, и все наблюдают, как труженики тянут шеи и подобострасно смотрят вверх...
